Renovating your basement in 4 steps
Step 1 | Diagnosis
Before you renovate your basement, we check for (potential) moisture problems. We scan your basement walls and map the structure and condition of your basement. Do you want to use your basement as a living space? Then we already recommend the installation of a ventilation system. Not only will you not give moisture a chance, you will immediately ensure the supply of fresh air in the enclosed space.
Step 2 | Drainage
Do we find moisture in the basement walls or floor? Then we opt for drainage as an effective and durable solution. We apply water-repellent layers of bubble membrane to the walls and floor. This allows ground moisture to flow away through channels between the wall and membrane. The groundwater is then drained to a collection well. In the pit we install a pump with sensors that automatically and regularly pump the soil moisture into the sewer system. That's 100% futureproof renovating your basement!
Step 3 | Finishing
After installing the waterproof wall membranes, we install wood OSB panels or drywall against the walls. Whether you choose a wood pattern or prefer a stone pattern, both materials are easy to repaint. Overlay the studded membrane on the floor with a new concrete floor. Now the best part of your basement renovation can begin!
